Joint Serminar Organised by Aids Care Link,Westminster Organisation from Mineapolis USA and Good Link Foundation

 AIDS CARE LINK in partnership with GOOD LINK FOUNDATION and WESTMINSTER Organisation from Mineapolis Mn USA organised a joint seminar on the 15th Febraury 2009.This was to discuss on concrete  measures to  be taken concerning people living with HIV/AIDS.

Members of Good Link Foundation as shown on  the picture participated fully at the seminar. With the observation withness concerning stigmatisation towards those affected and  infected in most communities, it was obvious that concrete actions had to be carried out on the field.

Dr Kwane Samuel the General Cordinator of AIDCARE Link Cameroon outlighted the fact that people living with HIV/AIDS needed to be financially independent.He further explained that this could be achieved through the creation of migro lucrative projects for those concern.In this case they will no longer depend or wait for help from us.Proposals concerning the differents projects were then outlighted such as Hairdressing ,Craftwork ,Tailoring etc.It was specified that an HIV/AIDS Patient who was helpless and had skills in one of the above mention  was going to benefit freely from this.The WESTMISTER organisation was going to finance this project .Identificaion of those in needs was going to be done by AIDSCARE LINK and GOOD LINK FOUNDATION.Those who had no skills were going to be trained before engaging themselves in any of the project also.

The seminar ended with a general picture of the three organisations present and other invites.

Conference organised by Good Link Foundation Concerning Youths in Cameroon on the theme "Change and Move"

 On the 11th of Febraury 2009 which is youth day in Cameroon, Good Link Foundation Organised a Conference base on the theme Change and Move.We thaught it necessary to invite youths of the Makepe Maturite community  so that together we can find solutions to problems suffered by this Community.It was animated by Mr Achiri Tabifor Emile the actual President ,Mrs Tsamo Francine(Cordinator) and Mrs Tiaya Gael .

The Makepe Maturite Community is that which is situated directly behind the university of Douala.Reason why there is a great number of  student there and at thesame time a considerable wide number of unemployed among them.The youths had to take thier future in their hands rather than waiting on the Government.It was time for self emploment and this could only be achieved through lucrative projects that needed to be realised.Projets mostly based on agriculture was found to be the best and various proposal s were made concerning this domain.we ended the conference with a rendez vous shedule to take place  by the end of this year so to discuss on how to carried on concretely these projects and also on how to get the finances and support.
